HI, I am planning on getting more involved with your way of cooking and plan to frequent your site daily for ideas to help with my everyday cooking. I was wondering if you may have a sauce recipe for garlic sauce. I have a local chinese resturant that makes wonderful brocolli with garlic sauce and not only am i trying to find a healthy version to make at home, but my husband and i are trying to save money and i don’t want to be spending money eating out. I am looking for a good alternative. Their version is vegan, I just can’t figure out how to make it on my own. Thank you so much for your help and also for your site
it gets very frustrating to cook vegan meals. It is wonderful to have your healthy recipes available. Thank you so much.
I can’t promise it will be exactly like your local restaurant, but I have a garlic sauce that I love: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2007/11/sichuan-tofu-with-garlic-sauce.html. Instead of tofu, just use lightly steamed or stir-fried broccoli. I hope you enjoy it!
Hello Susan! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this site and all the wonderful recipes! Attempting to go as fat free as possible and vegan at the same time. I have a question for you–I just bought a vegan cupcake cookbook but almost all of the frostings in the book are still high in fat (vegetable shortening, vegan margarine, etc.) I wonder if you have any recipes you can post for some low or even no fat vegan frostings that are “similar” to the traditional kind of frostings? Thanks!
