Yep, I'm famous!
All this is by way of saying Thanks, Isa. And I don't mind at all that you stole that photo of my pumpkin soup. Now, if you could just help me get a book deal....

I thank her too! I found your site via Isa's LiveJournal post.
I was strictly McDougall-style vegan for about eight years, but have strayed since getting married and having kids. Your wonderful blog is an inspiration for me to get back to cooking and eating the way *I* like to eat. Thank you for taking the time to create those marvelous looking dishes, shoot the appetizing photos and put it all on the internet!
Congrats Susan! I have been wanting to read her cookbook for a while--you must be very proud!
I also wanted to echo the praise you have gotten recently at E2L. The fatfreevegan site, E2L, and now your blog are great inspirations to me! Before I found them, I thought I was the only person in the world who ate this way--but now I know I am not, and it is great to get ideas and support from others. And your amazing photos!
Thanks again
Courtney
Congrats on the kudos, Susan! You deserve it. Enjoy every minute! :-) [And I'd love to see you get a book deal.]
warm regards,
Karina
Hi Molly! I'm so happy you stopped by. I hope you find some recipes your family will like. It can be a challenge cooking for other people, but I think that kids will learn to like this kind of food if given the chance. Good luck in your return to McDougalling!
Oh Courtney, please don't you praise me, too! It really does embarrass the heck out of me. Thank you for your kind words, and you're welcome!
I'm happy if this is remotely helpful to people. To tell the truth, I'm having a ball doing it. I'm an ex-writing teacher who lost the desire to write, and now I've found it again thanks to my love for food. :-)
LOL, Thanks Katrina! I'm not sure I'm up to writing a book, but I can dream....
And as for deserving it, your blog has been getting a lot of well-deserved attention. One day when I grow up, I want to take photos like yours!
Oh, congratulations! You deserve the recognition. Now we can say "we knew you when..." :)
Hahaha, Miriam! I guess I'm going to need a really long acknowledgments section in my book! ;-)
