Desserts Magazine Vegan Edition
I just found out that the latest edition of Desserts Magazine is out, and it's all vegan! There are mouth-watering recipes and photos from some of your favorite vegan bloggers, including Dreena, Emilie, Hanna, Isa, and, well, me. You can learn the secrets to making the Chocolate Walnut Muffins from Mäni's on Fairfax, sample the Amazing Hot Fudge Sundae Cake from Fran Costigan, or dive into the Coconut Custard Pie from Baking with Agave Nectar . . . or you can just enjoy the pretty pictures as you sip your chocolate-flavored, stevia-sweetened hot beverage--your choice, but I'll leave you to guess what I'm doing! The gorgeous cover photo is by Helen of Tartelette. Be sure to check it out in its full size when you flip through the free online magazine.

How cool! I just downloaded myself a copy :-)
How exciting! Can't wait to check it out.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. :)
Just got the PDF also. Nice to see that everything doesn't use something soy based, since I am soy intolerant. But it would have been nice if the magazine would have mentioned rice and almond milks as alternatives and that Smart Balance with flaxseed oil is also vegan and soy free. Some of the recipes do, but not all; so that may confuse some people.
Very exciting- so glad you "twitter-ed" it. :) I'm downloading this one! How nice that it is free.

this was such a delight to page through--loved the sound of the virtual pages turning, too--and I was so pleased to see that chocolate orange cake in there! It really is a crowd pleaser in this house, too.
I am delighted to be included in your wonderful magazine. What a treat to turn the pages and see friends from my Vegan Boot Camps and dessert colleagues too; plus all the yummy recipes.
You got my intention just right-- uncompromisingly delicious desserts that are healthful.
Please read this important correction to the recipe, which as been corrected in the 2nd printing of my book. [Any errata in recipes can be found on my website www.francostigan.com.]
The corrections for the best result are as follows:
Step# 2, the correct amount of sugar is 3/4 cup. Step #4 use the remaining 1 cup of sugar.
Best,
Fran
