A Winner...and Another Contest!

Winner

Congratulations to lucky number 343, bebe21310, winner of an autographed copy of The Ultimate Vegan Guide: Compassionate Living Without Sacrifice by Erik Marcus. Eric or I will contact you soon so that we can get your book to you before the holidays.

Thanks to all 449 of you who entered. It was a joy to see so many people who are newly vegan or are thinking of going vegan. I regret that I can't give every one of you a copy of this informative book.

But I do have one more book to give away, and it will be of particular interest to those of you who are struggling with giving up dairy:

Go Dairy Free

Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook for Milk Allergies, Lactose Intolerance, and Casein-Free Living is a comprehensive guide to eliminating dairy from your life. Written by Alisa Fleming, of GoDairyFree.org, the book includes a guide to dairy substitutes, an in-depth health section, everyday living tips, lists of dairy-free and vegan resources, and over 225 recipes, including many from well-known cookbook authors and bloggers, such as Dreena Burton, VeggieGirl, and Celine. And that's really just the start of it. Go Dairy Free is jam-packed with everything you need to know to, well, go dairy free!

Alisa has generously offered to give a signed copy of her book to one lucky reader of this blog. To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post with your email address (as before, use the words AT and DOT instead of symbols). If you'd like, tell a little about about your experience with dairy-free living and how you think this book could help you.

Comments will close on Sunday, December, 14, at 2pm Central, at which time I'll give the job of picking a winner to the Random.org website.

The see reviews of the book, visit its page on Amazon. Note, however, that Amazon will not be able to deliver in time for Christmas. Because of this, GoDairyFree.org is offering free priority shipping for the next week, so order there to receive it before the holidays.
