Come On, Get Cooking!
The "Can This Recipe Be Saved" contest is in full-swing. We now have three entrants: Carla, Liz, and Kristine (who emailed me her recipe for Thai Lentil Croquettes). But there's still a week to go, so you have plenty of time to get your scrumptious creations posted. Act now and you can use the nifty cool "Can This Recipe Be Saved" graphic above. One super-creative cook will win a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate and bragging rights for all eternity. See all the details here.
So get cooking, because the woman in this picture really looks like she needs your help!

Add another entrant. Jule emailed me some info about her recipe, which uses homemade spinach-sun dried tomato hummus instead of pumpkin. Check out her photo.
Ooooh, I might be up for the challenge- but I'll see if I can get something together before the 11th!
Gosh, she really does look like she needs my help and I have a horrible feeling I'm going to let her down :p
I have been greatly enjoying receiving your posts in my inbox :))

Hi!
I really tried it, but with no success. It tasted like... oven baked grass, or something. So I figure Im doing something wrong. Should the green beans be precooked?
Ill try it again, (we really loved the sauce) but not too sure where the grassy taste came from.
Also, having some trouble with measurements, since Im in Sweden.
Blog is in swedish, too. But if you ever want a recipe for Seitan chorizo, let me know ;). (I make them small like hotdogs, so you can have them on bread, with toppings...)
Anyways, i didnt really like what I came up with, so Im not participating this time.
I've posted my entry:
